This is the first week of January SugarPlums & how do you plan on spending it?? Remember that just because New Year’s Celebrations are over, you don’t have to resort to a gloomy routine again!  

• Make a list of your Resolutions / Targets - Make it nice and really creative & always keep it with you! Or else pin it somewhere where you spend a lot of time - your desk, on your google desktop, by your bedside etc! It will be your own friendly reminder to help you to keep them & not give up!
• Watch old family homemovies - Ahhh bring back the nostalgia & bad fashion! It’s twice as fun when watching them with friends - heck! You can make a marathon of each other’s embarassing family home movies!
• Make an inspiration book - Each day / week / month, write or draw something which appeals to your imagination. You can put magazine images, print outs, or put in inspirational quotes which make you think… The possibilities are endless & it’s also a super useful tool when you’re short of ideas - always keep it with you!
• Head to the January Sales -  For all shopaholics alike: now’s the time to hit the stores darlings!!!! Let’s make some amazing bargains ok??

I know i’m blinding late but i wish you all a marvellous 2009! How was everyone’s 2008 huh? Mine was one of the most amazing years so far - i’ve accomplished a lot & i’m mighty proud of myself!  

I’ve slimmed down to a size 8-10, i’ve been to places i’ve never been before, i’m healthier, i’ve done things that i hadn’t done in years, met people that i haven’t seen in a long while / always wanted to meet, got more indipendence & basically i feel like i’ve somewhat evolved to a better person This also includes s-g.net, which i feel has grown to a better place - & this is only the beginning s-g.net still needs to grow and expand! I’ve got a lot of ideas for the upcoming year for this website … but still no definite ideas / resolutions for myself!!

Maybe i’ll create my to-do list for 2009 later! … What are your plans for 2009?

I’m a day late to wish everyone a MERRY XMAS 2008! I wasn’t on the pc all day yesterday - this week was rather hectic! Finally i’m enjoying some time off and catching up with my overloaded inbox, continue eating the gingerbread stars i made, cleaning up my study room, enjoying the gifts i received and preparing the laptop for decorating (i’ve bought a bunch of things from Strapya to make it super kawaii & will be buying that matching ladybug mouse soon as well ! I couldn’t help myself not posting this, even though i’m a week  late …  Last week i learned about the death of one of my biggest idols & one of the most famous icons out there: Bettie Page. I got to know early in the morning & remained sad and droopy faced all day.

I’ve been a huge Bettie fan for almost 4 years now and she’s the one who got me adoring the pin-up fringe style, it looks so good on her! I just had to try it out on myself! I remember when her movie came out in 2005 … oh gosh! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it! I ran to the dvd rentals store as soon as it was placed among the new arrivals and was the first one to get my hands on it!! I stayed up late watching it … when i should’ve been studying!

i think she was a gorgeous woman & someone whom we all should look up to - in a time where people where closed minded, Bettie fought all odds and challenged the world with her sexy (then even controversial) poses. Without her contribution to society, most probably the world would still be a prude?? Who knows?!

• Wednesday: Off to buy stuff for next Friday’s Office party hihihihihi !

• Friday: Christmas Office Party! Yeahhhhh! Again, i hope not to forget the camera this year … again!
• Saturday: We’ve planned a whole day shopping for ian’s gifts he’s giving & we’re baking gingerbread cookies! Nyam Nyam!
• Sunday: I’m sure we’ve got something planned, at the very least a dvd night!
• Monday: I’ve got a reunion with my old girlfriends at secondary school. Unfortunately my bestie will not be coming as she’s got tickets for a play & neither will my old desk pal be coming … mehh! i hope not to forget the camera LOL! I need a reminder!
• Tuesday: Facial early in the morning! Mmmm & Hopefully i pop to visit some old friends to give them their gifts!!
• Wednesday: I’ve got work in the morning, but everyone’s cheery & there’s punch (weee!). In the evening, we’ve got a christmas dinner & we exchange gifts!
• Thursday: On Christmas day, we’ve got our family dinner & opening of more presents!
• Friday:  Day off to recuperate!
• Tuesday - Thursday:  Living at a Paceville flat drinking and celebrating the new year’s :P

… & i’ve left out a lot of other activities that are not definately planned! Aaaa!
