Events, Life, School 9:25 am 763 Words  Respond?

School has started again, and so these two weeks have gone by like a dream. My birthday last week was pretty ok too - it was quite a quiet day (apart from the near death experience i had on wednesday the 24th at work LOL which i’m not going to mention just in case someone snoops on this :P). Mom took me out the day after (the 25th) for some shopping and got me a kimono-wearing Hello Kitty cell phone charm (the other HK charm i had stopped working properly ), the book “Monkey” (loosely based on a 16th century Chinese legend, Journey To The West by Wu Ch’eng-en - which is the story off which Gensoumaden Saiyuki was based ) On saturday Kiru took me to see Apocalypto. I quite liked it. For some reason, I had expected more gory scenes, and kind of expected to see the conquistadores to mainly feature in the film as well - but was i wrong. Other stuff i got for my birthday were of course money :P, a wollen cap, a pair of pjs, a Lavender BodyShop set, a pirate bandana, a cadet hat with a crown design, Chinese hair sticks, a pretty black beaded bracelet, a Hello Kitty bag, and some really cool accessorize gloves (very warm and comfy too!) - the rest of the gifts i still have to wait to get them as most of my friends had university exams (poor things) so the full celebration is going to take place next saturday - my friends are taking me out for chinese hihihi

Sailor Senshi Dolls

Haha who knew that the infamous Lira shops would actually have some stuff which i would be willing to purchase?? I hate Lira Shops to the core XD They’re similar to the Dollar Store, where you can find heaps of cheap, ugly and useless stuff - weirdly enough they seem to attract women like a magnet (i can still remember that faithful day in gozo one summer were i was dragged by my aunts to lira shops and bragain shops ALL DAY … the HORROR!) Amazingly i managed to find 2 Sailor Senshi action figures like the ones i used to buy when i was a kid & for a mere lira ($3.5)! Apparently the shop had acquired some old stock from some local toyshop which had these left over luckily for myself i happened to stumble over them! There were a bunch of Hello Kitty stuff too (either really really good imitations, or old stock as well). I especially fell in love with an alarm clock and a letter holder XD but unfortunately i’ve got nowhere to put them, so instead i settled to purchased giant HK sticker sheets I will definetely find some good use for them :P
Last night was a big night for the local artists artists over here. The Maltasong for Europe, aka the MSFE, is like the biggest competition there is for them. The winner will represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest later on this year. I usually watch only the international contest but this year i made an exception and watched the local festival as well because an old school friend of mine, Julie, was taking part in it I luckily managed to phone her before the evening lecture yesterday to wish her best of luck and she sounded pretty excited about the evening! (i won’t blame her ) I wished her song passed on to the finals though … some of the songs which passed seriously suck and my guess is that they are only there because of their huge advertising campaign by utilizying main television programmes to promote themselves (brain washing anyone?). Oh well. We’ll see who the winner is next saturday.

YAY! I like my dollar store by my house. Once in a while, they would have cheap anime dvds for like $2-$5. ^_^

Ooh, I wish they had Hello Kitty merchandise here too I saw a store filled with it on holiday in Italy last year, but my mom dragged me out of it as soon as I saw something I like

                            Happy birthday anyway =3

I’m having difficulties with the sitelayout once again. School is also bothering me, and I wish to rant my ass off about some whore at my school (she was all over this guy at his party. He was in love with her, but she wasn’t with him. She made him believe that she liked him as well, and then just said that they wouldn’t go together. Eventually, she crept up to my exboyfriend to keep her warm. I’m afraid he believes that they’re going to be an item). She’d been like that since our second year.

I don’t like attentionwhore’s, esp. those who go after my friends.

I think I’d stop now X_x it makes the commentfuction look like a blog XD

                            Myeah, happy belate- birthday.

Oh, before I forget, I already got “The Marrow of a bone” by Dir en grey, email me if you want the torrent link =3

Yes but you see, that’s why people go bargain shopiing, because some of the stuff you find is a reall bargain lol. You should have brought those other things anyway, eventually you’ll have the space for them…

Happy Belated Birthday BTW… hopefully you’ll have a great time when your friends take you out!
