*munching on sugar cookies* i’ve just finished studying a whole 8 chapters of Software Engineering so bear my crap state of mind lol (sugar cookies are for energy!). I still got 2 more chapters to go if i want to reach the target i set for myself today … but i guess i’ll continue them later…

Our aniversary went great last saturday we had some delicious Nigiri-zushi and Sashimi along with Green Tea icecream yummm! Then afterwards we went to see 300 - i really loved it (the following day my bf showed me a south park episode which was a complete parody of the movie … lol mrs garrison sure makes a great kind leonidas lololol!) =) i got my gift yesterday - a darlinggggg Betty Boop Alarm clock (click here to see it) *heart* it was what motivated me to organize the mangas / books on my desk shelves so as to place it near my other ‘desk treasures’ hehehehe! My manga collection is growing pretty fast - i’ve reached number 21 at the moment, soon to become 25 because yesterday i was lucky to find one volume of the PARAKISS MANGA at the store and ordered the rest hopefully i’ll get them in the coming weeks

Yesterday i met Luana from honey-babe.net! Here is the proof. And here is another proof! (aren’t we kawaii?) The day was awesome - apart from my crappy italian. Sometimes i would forget which word to use and i would blurt it in english… not to mention that i’ve mistakingly spoken to her in maltese two times (i’m just not used to switching to a foreign language for a long period of time ) Here’s a full rundown of what we did:

The Morning
We met up at the city gates and went off to a public garden where we exchanged the gifts we got :mrgreen: She got me 3 Tokyo MewMew mangas, a Tokyo MewMew dvd, a Rock Encyclopedia book (it can be seen in the Betty Boop pic above tooo!), an italian magazine with some really adorable cherry earrings anddd a sheer black bolero I’m sooo thankful for everything *heart* it was also in the public garden that we took the photos above too

The Shopping
Time for one of my favorite hobbies ever - shopping! We went off to find cute & kawaii accessories that we love so much & we got stuck in the bookshop for quite a lot of time it was there that i found the last missing piece of my Saiyuki manga collection &…… PARAKISS!! XD Next time we go to the bookshop though it would be a better idea if we got a supermarket trolley - Luana practically hauled with her enough stuff to make a library out of them hahahaha

The DINNER
It was off to the Inspirations at the St James cavalier, which also serves as an art gallery. Too bad the exhibition this week was on arabic books not very spectacular i must admit - the best i’ve met so far was definately the Chinese fan paintings a few months ago The original plan was to go off to eat chinese but due to some unexpected turn of events we ended up there - it was still great though… apart from the fact that the waiter forgotten to take the order for Luana’s pizza and we had to grab his attention so as to get it for us There was also the problem that the wind had gotten pretty cold out there on the bastions Luana almost froze to death!

The Grand Finale
We went to Casa Rocca piccola, a beautiful 600 year old house in the heart of the valletta. The house is a living museum showing how Maltese nobility have lived during the time of the Knights (1536 A.D.) up till the present day. I had visited the place when i was 9 years old (making it, ten years ago) and practically fell in love with the surroundings. We were also very lucky to have a *cough*hot*cough* young guide and we were the only ones to tour with him - so we had our own personal guide to bug about! LOL! Upon entering the house i imediately realized that the house had changed there certainly was no Chinese room the time i had gone there, and the Chapel wasn’t like i remembered it and there was more stuff on display … - later on the guide told us that they practically change it almost everyday (!!) - mostly since people still live in the house so the house isn’t like the normal static musuem. The part i enjoyed the most must have been when he showed us lace baby bonnets and a baby’s baptism gold embroidered gown (gasp!). Going into the bomb shelter was also great fun I was so taken into the tour that i had forgotten to ask whether i could take pics or not! ARGH!!!! It’s difficult to describe the house and what we’ve seen, because we had seen so many great luxuries that it would take me a whole book to write! I’m a huge local history fanatic … can’t you tell?? :P

The one hour tour flew by pretty fast, and it was already time to go as Luana & get ready to go to see Spiderman 3 with her bf and i was off my sweety’s house for a more laid back evening :P … Ha, i was so tired that i fell asleep on the poor guy 2 times while watching tv!! Hopefully, next weekend me & Luana will be going out again :mrgreen: Can’t wait!
