I’ve certainly found my creative streak again 
i’ll be adding the new content in the YOU section pretty soon - but first i need to add some more to the items i’ve already created … & their relevant code 
& no, i won’t reveal what they are just yet!!! i’ve also found the cutest image that will most probably make it to the new main layout. i’ve even found a new style of blog posts - so bye bye standard blog template i’m using at the moment! 
(Though yeah, it’ll still be available through the older skins, i guess).
… In my never ending quest to continuously improve my site, i’ve decided to add yet another bunch of things to my larger than life to-do list :P i will definitely tackle the way i blog & the style of writing … I enjoy blogging, but lately i’ve had so many Writer’s blocks (or should i say - Blogger’s blocks?) that they have slowly taken away my writing motivation 
Don’t fear everyone! I don’t have any intention of leaving S-G.net =) But i would really love to see a bigger change in it - & not only visually I would like to provide useful content to the website visitors not only from the YOU section, but also through my blog-posts as well I’ve surfed around a bunch of blogger help sites for enlightenment, and i believe that i have actually found it. So, expect major changes along with the new layout everyone!! At the moment every thing’s still in the planning phase!
Unfortunately, speaking of people loosing their interest in their blogs, i found out that Faith & Sheryl have decided to close down their sites. Such a shame it’s always so sad to see a blogger go like this… But it’s even sadder though to see an un-updated blog which fades out when the host-domain expires … All because these people keep us readers checking out their blog for hopes to see yet a new update … until the day comes where we see “This Domain is for Sale” 
So sad. I hate to see bloggers go if i stop keeping a site / blog, it will be like loosing part of my daily routine, but of course, i’m weird that way :P and the fact that keeping a website has been part of my daily life in the last 5 / 6 years doesn’t really help now does it?? :P

Agered, its always sad to see so many sites go. But people have offline lives, they lose interest. Its all understandable. i only hope that Faith and Sheryl will return.

Hey afef :mrgreen: sure it is so sad to see a blogger just go like that, if it wasn’t for you hosting me at least i wouldn’t have visitors or so and i would just give up! so thx, and just in case you haven’t checked i made a gift for all the buddies, i really hope you like. I hope i have improved a tiny weeeeny right? XD speaking of contents, you are so great in photoshop and paint, why don’t you add a tutorial? that will attract more people i guess :S see ya around, and hey, i’m gonna be off to hiatus just for four days ok? just to let ya know

Lol, I know how you feel when you have a load of stuff on your to-do list. I have so much its not even funny!
I do agree though, it is sad that you see bloggers leave… Especially when they had good sites.

It’s okay if you have a writer’s block, all that really matters is honesty and sincereity in your writing. I think it’s really great that you want to improve presentation for your site and it’s content - I admire your exuberance. Can’t wait to read more from you!

The day I put up a new layout is when I visit my affies aka each week I comment them. I try to visit twice a week but sometimes aka most of the time they only update once a week too.

Yeah, I understand the feeling when people close down their sites, especially those which you’ve been following for a while :sad: I’ve had a lot of Internet buddies disappear on me, and it’s always depressing when that happens because you have no idea where they went!
I bet if I quit running my site(s) I’d feel like part of me died as well - web design and stuff is like my most important hobby :grin:

Wow… amazing that you’re so dedicated to blogging. But it’s easier said than done I think. you really have to have a passion and for some people, these kinds of things don’t last long you out grow them. But to continuously blog for 6 years?!!?!?!? Amazing. But there is a change in the current crowd of bloggers. I don’t know, when I came back this time, I don’t get the same friendly vibe and excitement and actual love for webdesign from people anymore. Either that or my perception has changed. Seems like there are broken blog links everywhere. xD
Good luck with the revamp. That’s really time consuming, revamping to a point were it’s FRESH/NEW in more ways than just visual. lol.

I rather find that depressing as well. When sites close down.
I know, when i was really young, I first got into the net world. All the pretty sites, and now I come to visit. And they’re all gone, yet a few of them are still around. But I know what you mean.
I guess, I’ll have to come back to see the new content. I ran out of creativity and barely got a Miyavi layout up. Then closed down my little content page- yes it’s that bad for me. :sad: BUT! I’m glad you still got your talent going! Yay!
