I’m back kids! It’s December – so it’s time to crank out The Bodyshop’s Cranberry lotions and start spreading the christmas cheer around!! 
Gosh i LOVE the festive season to bits and can’t help feeling depressed after its over… but wait :P i would still have January to celebrate = my bday of course xD!! Here are my 12 reasons for which i simply love the 12th Month (pun intended!)
- Everyone’s Happy – The VERY old cliche’ – but it’s SO TRUE! Everyone’s in such a good mood at this time of year
‘Tis the month i see no grouchy faces at work, amongst friends and at home 
- Meeting up with Old Friends – Christmas is a great time to catch up with old friends whom you’ve neglected a bit throughout the year (either because you’re goddamn lazy to pick up your cellphone and send an sms or an email or else your work schedule prevents you from seeing them enough!) Go on! Send your old pal an ecard & get talking!
- Christmas Shopping – Oh gosh, i’m a huge shopaholic and i love that christmas brings with it an excuse to go off on wild shopping sprees and buy presents for everyone! Gift buying is one of the joys of christmas (gah, i’m such a sicko!) – christmas and events also means new clothes, extra trips to the beautician, new makeup, new accessories etc etc (shallow much!?)
- Christmas Carols – *puts on the White Christmas Song*
They get that christmas spirit thing going on! Ha i’ve managed to disseminate all 200 songs i’ve managed to find across my workplace - Lots to do – Lots of events, christmas dinners with friends and families, parties and lots of Preparations!!
- Christmas cards through the post - It’s not everyday that i get surprized by getting nice things in the post (except for ordered items, birthday cards and the bills – but you kinda expect those and they loose that surprize effect!)! I love it when someone decides randomly to send me a card it’s almost better than a gift!
- Luana‘s coming to malta – Yupp! Luana‘s going to be back to malta again on the 20th! hurray!! Can’t wait to see her!!
- Decorations - Streets, buildings, my house, my street : all lit up with a million colours!!
- More free time – Exams are finished (i’ve aced one and done average in the other), so i’m free to be lazy and lounge around this time of year (Let’s not forget a week off for vacation! WEE!)
- Govt bonus in my pay - Extra cash in my paycheck this month! Makes me care about politics for a mere second!
- Presents – Haaaaaaa! Gifts show that someone actually thought of you when he / she saw the item in the shop Don’t you just feel the love?
- The bodyshop christmas specials – being a Bodyshop addict i await these with great passion each year! The limited edition items from the Bodyshop! zomg! I can’t wait to get my hands on their Rich Plum range!

I love the family time and togetherness of the winter holidays. And the smell of the tree and decorations. And Happy Hanukkah.

Oh I’m a body-shop fan myself
They gave me a trial for make-up and everything when all I said was ‘I need new foundation’.
Its good to hear that someone’s excited about the Christmas season!!

Yeah december is pretty awesome. I just hate the snow and I dont like being with my family sometimes…and I HATE christmas songs, i cant stand them xP.

I love those things about Christmas, too. I also enjoy being with my family and having the traditional things from Jamaica, Sorrel wine and Rum cake (yummy!).

OMG I agree with all of your 12 favourite things! XD; Well, except maybe the everyone being happy part … SOme people are still grumpy, and others are just stressed as Hell … Which is sad, they should be happy! I’ve been pretty happy myself, and I’m normally quite grouchy!
OMG, I’m listening to The Sex Pistols version of I Fought The Law … It’s awesome as fuck.

Everyone’s happy yes, but it’s also very, very fake. Those who are truly happy and aren’t just putting face are the ones that don’t turn their face around the rest of the year. It puts into perspective what kind of person they are.
Although you surely appreciate those around you even more when you’re far from home and come back to see them. That would probably mean more than anything else.

I love this site, this is one of the first sites I came accross that I found absolutly inspiring and amazing.
I’m not a huge fan on christams, but that list of 12, minus the christmas songs, is pretty good
Cept.. I’m always stressed at this time of year, I don’t like having to smile for no reason and spending time with my family isn’t exactly happy in my household.
Oh well, have a good x-mas and new year
