It’s about time that i post to sum up my month and say hello to the new and refreshing February! How was everyone’s January?? 
Hope it was as eventful and lovely as mine! With my new style of blogging I realized that my blog is becoming less and even less personal (i GOT to restart writing in my LJ - i’ve been nagging about restarting my daily blogging over there for weeks now! Damn you procrastination!! 
) … So here’s my make-up post for all the personal things and mini challenges i’ve conquered in the past month! I’m going to start calling these end of month posts Sugar Cubes. Why the name? Because it’s positive, cute & the name seems appropriate as i only want to remember the best & sugarry filled times from the passed month 
Sugar:
- New Year’s Eve - My january kicked off with a dose of tequila shots, vodka , punch, & rock music at bars
- as well as good company and a new adventure of trying to fit 10 people & over sleeping in a studio flat’s room! Pics on Flickr are yet to be uploaded … i’ve only got a few here. - January Sales - No explanations needed really
- Late xmas gifts - I LOVE receiving overdue xmas gifts because it brightens up January just a little bit after the joyous season.
- My 20th Birthday - Celebrations kicked off with a visit to my favourite spot in all of malta the night before (though unsuccessful in trying to find a good winebar who seated 6 people ), presents, GOOD CAKE, and attending the MSFE!
- Good Health - After a whole month of nothing but eating - i’ve started slimming down again (all my pants now have become baggy OMG!) thanks to speedwalking, switching my lunch to brown bread, drinking LOADS of water, drinking Green Tea, and getting a good night’s sleep. The Diane35 i’m taking also sped up the process as well (& yay for SUPER clear skin!!) … & i’ve only started everything this month!
- Culinary Adventures - We’ve taken it a habit to go off on Sunday nights to find a good winebar for a glass of wine and a tasty platter with friends of ours My favourite wine bar we’ve visited this month must be the Lupanara at the Birgu Waterfront. Their Casella Moscato wine’s totally DELISH! Gorgeous Sushi was on this month’s menu as well!!
Salts:
- Sickness - With a case of Gastric Flu at the end of the New Year’s eve adventure, & a severe case of infected Sinus that lasted over 2 weeks after the whole ordeal … i can pretty much be still greatful that i can still walk LOL.
- Lectures Starting Again - I’ve grown accustomed with not having school & lectures since November, so starting them up again was pretty tough.
- No Promotion yet - dammit i wasn’t chosen for the vacancy the corporation had. No one did. Grrrr!!
What else did i learn this month? There’s a new record for how much a person can stink, Not to trust any sellers on gumtree, How much evil i can really be, the correct way to successfully park a car in one go (LOL), & i can start my own fanclub soon LOL - just kidding.

UsingHehe, Chinese New Year in my household is HUGE. Every few months we make Chinese desserts.. THAT’S COOL! The year of the dragon is the luckiest, the Chinese believe that dragons bring good health and luck. My little brother was born in the year 2000 the year of the dragon too

UsingI’m glad to hear that January was a very good month for you, your new year’s and birthday sounds awesome. Sadly, I don’t get any late xmas prezzies, it sucks lol.. I get late cards though. OMG I just remembered…someone still needs to give me my xmas card haha.
Yay you for slimming down, I’m soo gonna use your method now. I want to lose weight too.

OMG you’re right. Your wings were EXACTLY the same as the ones I used on Halloween! We could have been costume twins in fact! XD I love love your corset, and socks, and skirt, and everything! Espeically the skirt!

I like it a lot. I would TOTALLY steal the idea from you, but, well … I’d be hard pressed to find sugary moments for a whole year, nevermind one month.

I think sugar cubes is a great name for the mini updates. Lol you should call the negatives “sour patches” or something. Its cool that your losing weight like that, I wish i could look baggy in my cloths. Haha I should take up speed walking asap!

I totally know what you mean with the whole lectures thing! I’m trying to go back to school this spring, but I haven’t done anything school-wise since 2004 so I’m a little stressed.. I’m afraid I won’t be able to get back into the groove fast enough!
that’s awesome that you have been going to different wine-bars! I personally enjoy going to the local martini bar! it’s so hip, comfy & chic! plus, they have SO many delicious different martinis to try, it’s always a new adventure in there! my favorite part though is the bartender, he is SO cute! he’s my gay friend! such an amazing guy & he’s always like “oh girl, you are looking hot tonight!” lol I LOVE IT.
I haven’t had a chance to look at your flickr yet, but soon I will!!
