I wanted to start something totally new this year & as a mini new project for S-G.net i’ve started conducting mini Inteviews with popular (aaand very talented!) webmasters having successful personal websites 
I hope you’ll like this new monthly feature!!
I would like to thank dearest Bubs for being so kind, accepting my interview via email and also for taking her time and answering my questions!

Interview:
1. Name / Alias: Sidney / Bubs
2. Website Name: BubblesSOC
3. What got you to create a website? I became bored of gaming and chatting. I also wanted a place to showcase my doodles and drawings.
4. How did you come up with the name? It’s been my internet alias since the early days. Bubbles = the Powerpuff Girl from the American cartoon. SOC = my initials.
5. How long have you had a website? I’ve had a website since , but I bought BubblesSOC.net in 2003.
6. What was the original theme of the site? Has it deviated? It’s always been a cutesy personal site
7. Where do you get inspiration for layouts from? Oh, many places! Cute stationery, Sanrio/San-X stuff, CSS galleries, friends’ sites, etc.
8. Did you ever think that your site will be this popular? Not at all, although I hoped it would!
9. What is your trick to make a website popular? Networking
10. How much time do you dedicate on working on your site? Way too much. It’s my number one priority (studying should be!)
11. Do you consider yourself as a mini celebrity? Do you like being considered that way? LOL No, I’m not that popular 
12. Do you monetize your website? If so – approximately – How much money do you make each month? Nah, it’s just for fun.
13. Do you have big plans for your website for the future? A new layout when I’m inspired!
14. Do you have any tips for us? When designing your layout, don’t rely too much on inspiration from other sites. Step back from the net with a pencil and paper. My best ideas come from there!
I would love it if anyone of you guys can leave me suggestions about the next interview! Any particular questions would you like me to ask in the future interviews? Who would you like me to interview next? (Hey, you can even nominate yourself!)

Aw, I’m a great fan of Bubs. I love all of the designs. And how did she align the navigations. I would love to know how did she do that.

. I think you should interview Angie [from Static Romance] or Yasmine [from Divergente]. They have pretty successful personal sites.

Ah, interviews. Thats a great idea lol. Theyre fun to read XD
UsingI basically learned CPR, how to use an AED, and what to do when a person’s choking. They also talked about what to do and how you know you/somone else is having a stroke or heart attack. I learned a lot in that class heh.

Hahaha, awww, thank you for the comment on my fish, Winston. He is becoming quite popular thanks to my blog!
That is an excellent idea for interviewing web designers, it really gives them recognition and is a unique idea for your own blog.
And I TOTALLY want an Unazukin now that I saw your previous blog. I ran right off to ebay to check them out! Hahahaha.

I have a few ideas! http://elephunk.nl is one of my newer inspirations. She’s amazing… also, if you’re into doll sites, Mint in the Box is really good. I would say me but I’m not very popular… yet

I think your monthly interview is a great idea, the only thing I would love to see is something like a before and after picture. To see how its changed since it first started.

I’m a newcomer here, so maybe my opinion isn’t value, but it costs me nothing to make it, so I’ll offer it up to you. I love the idea, first of all, but i think you may want to consider asking more in depth questions. Many of these questions have already been answered on Bubs’ websites, so it seems like you’re only serving to duplicate information. I know it’s a challenge though! Try reviewing your next interviewee’s information to make sure you’re not looking to duplicate information that any interested parties can already find. I feel like interviews should uncover new information rather than reiterate what’s already been said. I’ve probably repeated myself, but you get the idea!
