Argh, i’ve just broken my good record of posting around 2 blogs a week (i’ve only been doing sponsored posts lately) 
- blame school for this! Now that we’ve finished the lectures though, everything should go back to normal 
… So - what’s everyone been up to while i was gone? I myself have gone off and gotten a radical new haircut (pics here & here - more of them in the LJ entry! 
) & at the moment i’m waiting for my new child - the SONY VAIO CR VGN-CR320E/R (colour: Sangria! *droolage*). So yeah, i’ll be on msn again annoying the lights out of you all - my 3 yr old Dell (aka Yuki)’s dying a painful death at the moment (basically the memory, battery & the keyboard’s gone crazy!), hopefully we’ll fix him & mom’ll become his new loving owner 
I’m waiting impatiently for the new darling to arrive to its new home - i have nooo idea what to call it any help? Some cute name with the letter ‘S’ or ‘V’ preferabbly - What do you guys call your Laptop / PC?
I freakin’ love the 43things website. Do any of you have an account with it? It inspires me to try & always improve and also to do things for which usually i lack motivation While surfing around i encountered this little challenge:
“Identify 100 things that make me happy apart from money”
And i’ve decided to go off and try and do it 
being a huge money spender & a shopaholic, i thought i wouldn’t be able to acheive it, but, to my surprize i did: managed to find 62 items on the list - that’s a little more than half way! I didn’t think i could actually identify more than 20 things that don’t revolve around money (like shopping for stuff ) You can see the list over at my 43 things post here.
So what are the things that make you happy apart from money?? Go on and do the list as well! 
Here’s a template in Microsoft Word i made for myself which you can freely download: LINK you can personalize it how you like (add pics, stickers etc!) and get filling it out!!

I also have a 43 things account and I added the identify 100 things that makes you happy apart form money goal. It’s a great goal. I once did a similar thing where I wrote down 100 good things about myself.
My computers name is Gertrud and my harddrives are named Kurt and Courtney. I have no idea what you could name your computer. I only come up with really weird not so cute sounding names. :P

Dad’s buying me a laptop too—by that time my old laptop (a Compaq Presario V5233EA named Data)’s gonna be owned by my mommeh! What a coincidence!
And for the name of your new laptop, why not try Sooey? Vicky? Vee? Sims?

Wow, that’s a pretty neat website! Very positive. I like that.
Btw, in answer to your question, I have named all 3 of my computers. My main desktop is simply, “Big Boy”, my laptop is Becka, and my older laptop that I use for classic sierra games like Kings Quest & Quest for Glory is simply nicknamed “Sierra”.
Yes, I need more hobbies. haha

Oh wow cool your getting a new laptop, lucky you. Let us know how it works. I never called my computer any names except for special moments where I call it “piece of sh*t”. Does that count? Lol.
Something that makes me happy:
UsingHanging out with my boyfriend (since its long distance its nice to do normal things)
Relaxing and hanging out with a small group of good friends.

Cute av picture haha. New computers are exciting! I never really named my computer. But I am getting a laptop in the next few months for school. It’s mandatory. And I’m going to name it Emilie! I love that name and my b/f won’t let me name my child that so I might as well give it to good use haha. I don’t have any name suggestions for you though…Maybe Valerie? I like that name too.

that hundred things that makes you happy apart from money thing sounds good. I shall try it. But thing is, money does but a lot of happiness, for example.. you cant have fun at the cinema with your friends because you need money to go. You cant watch a movie with your friends because you have to pay for the DVD.. etc etc.. Everything revolves around money really.
I think you should call your new laptop severus. or Velma.

Ahh, looks like we’ll both be sporting new Vaios!
I call mine Junkie because really, it is. It houses at least 26GBs of music alone and 80GBs of other random crap. I have to agree with the reviews though, Sony laptops usually have mediocre speakers. My AR730 is Blu-Ray enabled and lo and behold, the speakers for it were crap. You’re gonna either have to buy some good headphones or speakers to go along side with it.
