We’ve reached the end of June too! How was this month for you guys? Hope it was awesome!! School’s out for most of you no? Hope you’re all planning to make Summer 2008 the best one everrrr (need any help with your to-do list?)!
June was pretty dull for the first two weeks for myself (where i had to study! study! study!!) – but after the final exam passed, June came back with a vengeance!! Here’s a rundown of my June in sugars & salts! 
Sugars:
- Hair Extensions – as many of you know … i LOVE my hair & having different hairstyles (my hair stylist loves me for that too!). Unfortunately though, i cannot colour it how i want and as much as i want (because it’s straightened, coloured blue-black & i would risk of severely damaging the hair if i bleach it), so hair extensions were the answer! Got them off ebay. They’re real human hair & they look just like they’re part of my hair – i’m buying more soon! Colours i already have: blue, purple, blue-black (to add length from the front
!) & the seller was nice enough to send me a free bright red pair 
! Colours i plan to get: shocking pink, platinum blonde (a.k.a white!!), blonde fading to black & … the infamous leopard print! 
Yummyyy! - Half Days at Work - As summer is here we’re finishing off work 2 hours earlier than usual hurray!! That means moreee extra time for me!! (Which, 99% of the time is spent merrily napping hahahaha!)
- Music Addictions - While having the exams breakdown i found myself watching MTV TRL (oh save me!). Luckily i found a good group called We the Kings i quite like some of their songs – they’re happy sounding and great for when you’re a bit down teehee.
- Culinary – It was off to sushi after the longest timeee as a nice post exams celebration *HEART*!! I also tried making instant Miso Soup but it just sucks without the tofu bits
I also warn you against decaf Green Tea – it just tastes HORRIBLE!! Beach BBQs are fun – but becomes a food challenge if you don’t eat beef / pork / hamburgers / sausages like myself! 
& a honorable mention i’ve also rediscovered my old childhood friend – the uber famous la vache qui rit! (goes amazing with rice cakes & it’s uber low fat too! Yumm!) - Other lovely things – My new gloomy bear shirt looks amazing (& very pink); I’ve beaten my 10 year record by going to swim 2 times already this year; I’ve finally sent my message in a bottle, which i hope somebody picks up & sends me an email or comments on s-g; Medium sized shirts are starting to fit me big (hurray!); Finished off watching Gossip Girl & The Mighty Boosh (both season 1) in less than four weeks!
Salts:
- Changes to our OOAD exam – The last exam i had, OOAD, was a complete mess. NCC should just be ashamed of themselves for messing up our paper. New and improved exam layout my ass!! By changing the first section they just turned it unworkable!! Let’s just hope that i (& the rest of class) won’t have to go through a resit because of them!
- Summer Heat - I just don’t sweat. Summer heat gets to me very very very rarely, but last week was a real scorcher. I couldn’t sleep properly at night as our Air Conditioner needs a service, so we had to live with using two fans
good thing the weather has calmed down just a little bit again. Another thing i hate about summer heat is that it makes me continuously sleepy and tired - Falling behind on exercise – Because of the heat, and finishing earlier from work (i.e. i nap more lofl) i’ve neglected exercise for over a week! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
What else did i learn this month? Not all tattoo parlours do piercings – even though they got piercing images pasted all over their display windows! The new hairstyle i selected to get myself isn’t bf approved grrr but i’m getting it anyway :P hehehehe. You can get what you want by bugging someone enough!! Income Tax is just plain EVIL. I just might experienced the sight of how a real UFO in the looks like and i freaked out (well, what would you guys do??) Missing the Summer Solstice at the Hagar Qim temples again SUCKS!!!!!

oooh, so you didn’t get it? I don’t think I’ll be able to go to the parlour anytime this week X__X My mom already took tomorrow off from work because we still have HEAPS of sewing to do, and she has to take care of the house (I’m filling in wherever possible), so I don’t think we could get to it.
I think if we can’t make it now, we probably won’t be doing it anytime this summer. Work starts next week and I’ll be deadtired when I get home XD

Hair extentions is such a great idea! My hair is black now and too damaged to do anything else with but I’ve never thought of getting extentions, even though I had extentions a couple of years ago. Thanks for the inspiration!
Extreme summer heat is a pain. I can’t even imagine how hot it must be where you live. Even though we have hot summers here in Sweden aswell I’m sure our heat cant’ be compared to the heat down where you live. How do you survive?! I guess air condition is a must in all houses?
Why do the tattoo studios have posters of piercings if they don’t do piercings? That’s just weird.

June went by sooo fast! I can’t believe it.
I would love to get hair extensions! I want to get some pink ones and maybe electric blue. You’ve inspired me to search ebay for some.
I just recently discovered “We the Kings” too and I really like their music. Like you said, it’s awesome music for when you’re down.

AFEFFY! I MISS YOU SO MUCH! I’ve been dead for the past few months and I feel so bad. Everyone’s got super duper cool blogs and are still updating them and whatnot (except I had to delete over like half of the links that I had before, so I guess not EVERYONE’S been updating), and yeah. I really need to get back into this. I miss all my lovely affies. Harhar.
I’M SO HAPPY. School is over. Summatives and exams are done. I’m graduating next fall! So exciting… Hehe. And yeah, I’ve been talking about extensions with my friends lately. o_o They seem to be quite the trend, haha. But I don’t think they’d be suitable for me… :P

I was thinking about getting some extensions lately too. Go figure.
What’s wrong with t he haircut you’ve chosen? Why doesn’t your bf like it? That would make me want to get it even more. lol I’m a brat like that though.

I really couldn’t get extensions. I’m scared they’ll bring my hair out or something.
I’m sure yours look gorgeous. It’s incredibly hot! I’ve been working out every other day but it’s just like wow..too hot to really do anything.

Extensions always make evrything better lol, I use them often, I’m bout to get some in in a few days for my Brother’s wedding.. OOh the length and the bounce it adds I LOVE IT lol and yeah i wouldnt color my own hair out of fear so extentions aka weave save the day, trust me u will deff enjoy ur

I fck up summer heat! Sorry for swearing but I seriously do! They are just plainly annoying and would mess up every make up that I had before.
It’s good that you’ll have less work, more time for shopping and napping. Yippe!

UsingAww mann.. I wish I could have hair extensions.. but in my hair.. nah. Wont work. I cant even dye my hair.. it would die. Its pant anyway, and I dont do anything to it! Grr! Anyway.. sod your boyfriend.. he’ll get used to the style.
Weather down here has been pretty average. Rain.. some sun.. bleh. I wish I was over there with you.

Oh yay for Summer heat. I feel it every single day when I go to work. The buses!!! Oh my.
I threw a bottle with a message in a river in France once… no one got back to me yet. That was 6 years ago. Don’t give up on receiving a reply to your message though :P

UsingI think it is awesome that you dye your hair different colors. I admire people who do that. I would love to, but am soo self concious and I wish I could break out of that.

I dont think I could pull off hair extensions, but I love people who have them.
Instead I just grow out my hair and donate it. My hair grows out so long its pretty ridiculous.
I just let it grow out over the summer, cut it and then by Dec its back to how long it was, so I have to cut it again.. etc.

I’ve got brown hair with pink sections under it. When I lift fringe up its all pink underneath ahahaha
