Hello there my dear sugarplum (adorable nickname isn’t it??)!
How was your July?? Hope it rocked as much as mine did (literally!!) ![]()
I’ve already given a quick update on some of the stuff that happened to me during the month of July in the previous post, Une Petite Mise à Jour, but my July was so packed that i still need a SugarCube edition for the rest of the month!!!
Sugar:
- Plenty of weekend Events - Yes, in July we had a lot of them
here’s some: the latest being the awesome Maltese Extreme Metal Festival 2008 (19 local bands & a Greek one – gosh it was soooo tiresome but soooo very worth it!!), 80′s goth party (aaaaargh! i got my picture on their hi5 profile! omg save me! Oh & can you see my hair?? It’s a bit non spikey but you get the picture!
), we also went to the Marsovin Winefest (pretty good, but maybe i expected a bit more & the prices to be a wee bit lower … i did manage to steal an extra souvenir wine glass with an incredible stroke of good luck though
joyyyy!!!!) - Presents – Oh yes! During this month i’ve received a lot of adorable gifts
First, there’s the adoooorable keychain from DarkDudes i received from Sakuzo (black and white – matches my car interior perfectly! Sakuzo – you must read people’s minds!). My friend Gaga also gave me this adorably cute Cinnamon Roll (Espresso to be exact!!) Cellphone strap
& my mom got me, possibbly, the cutest car airfreshner in the shape of a black flower hehehehe
oh and this month i received a lot of affie gifts!! Gosh i love you guys
you know how to make my day!! - Freshly Dyed Blue Black hair – There’s something incredibly sexy about freshly dyed hair which makes me ecstatic … must be the extra gloss & shineeeee!!!

- Gozo Weekend – four days of nothing but lounging around, swimming in the pool (stay away from the sun kids!), drinking vodka & not worrying about a single thing
(pics here) - Great Weight – Ooooo! Final 4 kgs until i reach my target weight! Currently i’ve started a low carb diet routine as well – hopefully that’s going to help me melt off the final few (it’s going to be reallyyyy hard i know, but i’ll manage!!)

- Other lovely things - twittering out my first 1000 twits, seeing really old friends to whom i haven’t spoke to in MONTHS (if not years!), summmer fruits & eating even healthier, slashing off my first 10% off my car loan

Salts:
- Problems with my Camille – My car purchase is being delayed till next week
i sooo hate still being car-less!!!! I want my Camilleeeeeee! I want my carrrrr!!! - Major Procrastination – Does anyone know the cure for this deadly condition?? I need a cure. FAST! I got a TON of things planned for the website but i done nothing yet
i’m currently in the process of collecting ideas for the new website layout as well as planning how the giveaway will be!!
- Wasting time on the Sailormoon Rom - When i really really REALLY should be sleeping. Imagine yourself still at it at 3am when you have to wake up at 6.10am in the morning for work, but you’re still playing that damned game!! ARGH! I’ve played that game at least 6 or 7 times. The sprites & story line is just way too adorable (can’t you tell i’m Sailor Moon obsessed?? i usually HATE video games with all my might … but old anime rom rpgs …. oh they capture my heart and make me waste time!!!!)
- Tragic story involving my neighbours – It was a living nightmare. One of my neighbours (& distant relatives, i got to know) got declared lost at sea (along with his son and his 11 yr old kid , whom we both know as well). For over a whole week we were anxious on getting any news fragment about their status. Just one survived in the end, and it was my neighbor’s son (the 11 yr old is still lost at sea and his body was never found). This week we had their funerals. It was all so very shocking and frightening, infact all of the village is currently mourning their deaths … even the annual village festa was canceled. i never would’ve imagined in a million years that something similar would hit someone living close to us.
What else did i learn this month? Use only hairspray if you’re going to wash your hair after the event you use it for (white flakes in hair are NOT sexy!!), Some businessmen are nothing but liars!, Vodka Jelly tastes goood but best done in small shots
, Going to a club drunk helps me dance – going straight is just going to make me ashamed of being there LOL ![]()

Wow! What an eventful month! I wish I had such eventful months…heck, I’ll settle for an eventful year! LOL
The band thing sounds awesome!!! I love the pic on your profile!!!!
You’re doing a low carb diet? My aunt did that and she lost a bunch of weight!!!! You’re gonna be so skinny
Not like you need it! look god the way you are now! But good luck! I hope you lose enough so that you can feel comfortable..because that’s the most important thing
I love freshly dyed hair. It looks so nice and healthy
I use to dye mine blue, and one time I dyed it dark purple
Wow…that’s really tragic about your neighbor
It’s weird how you think that things like that would never happen to you or anyone you know…but one day it does…an it’s so shocking. I guess it’s just to remind us of what we have, and to appreciate it.
Anyway, I hope you’re doing good!!!!

That’s so horrible about the neighbor. Wow. Just wow; I can’t even imagine how much pain the family must be in. I imagine there still must be a little bit of hope since one of the bodies wasn’t found…

hi Afef! You had a tumbling July! It must’ve been nice in the pool. Here in Australia its FREEEEZING winter! Gotta get SOME sun though, vitamin D is good for you

UsingIt’s really sad about your neighbours, especially when they haven’t found the boy’s body, they really don’t know
Anyway I’m glad you liked your affie gift =p. Take care!

wow, a lot has been going on with your offline life. your hair is nice
i have no cure for procrastination, i’m sick with that disease too.
i also hate video games except RPGs! i’m highly addicted to it, I even failed 4 subjects in school because of it

My July was pretty boring! :| I didnt do much to speak of. It was wasted basically.
But wow.. you sure had a pretty darn good July!! :o
Sucks.
And I wish I could dye my hair.. but its so think it will probably fall out as soon as dye touches it. Plus, if I had black hair, which is what I want, I would have to keep touching up the roots, which would kill it.
Also sucks about your car… but you know what they say. Seperation makes the heart grow fonder.. or something like that. lol.
Woah, that is so awful what happened to your neighbour! That really is something you dont expect to happen to someone you know.
Its horrible.

Hello Afef! I am finally BACKKKKK
it was truly a terrible accident and it is mostly terrible that the small boy was never found.

I also love freshly dyed hair. Espescially if the hair dye conditioner smells nice.
I also have black blue hair. It’s such a great colour. I love how the sunshine makes the blue shine.
Sorry to hear about the people from your village. It’s always so shocking when something like that happens close by. It’s just like when me neighbour shot his wife and a friend of theirs. You never believe something like that will happen that close to you. Not to people you know.
