Are you celebrating All Hallow’s eve this year?? 
I’m attending my first Halloween Party this year! (We don’t celebrate Halloween much here, but it’s slowly becoming a bit known!) Have you decided yet what are you going as this year? Here are some ideas which you might use if you’ve still haven’t decided yet!
If you want to be minimalistic – wearing dramatic make up accompanied with an all black ensemble might be just the thing for you you can get some spooky spider earrings or hair clips & you’re set to go! It’s also the perfect outfit if Halloween isn’t celebrated where you live but you still want to be in the spirit of things! 
Remember that this is not carnival holidays, and the theme is to be spooky not cute! So, cute costumes are definitely out (but you can still use carnival costume ideas with an evil twist to them of course!!)! 
If you have the right clothes in your wardrobe, you won’t even have to buy the whole costume from the store!! Try and incorporate as much black in your outfit and make up as much as possible – one of the all time favourite & somewhat cliche’ costume is the Vampire costume. All you need is white powder, some black eyeliner & eyeshadow (& some red stuff if you’re feeling creative), corset, cape or long coat, long black skirt and boots & you’re done: the sexy vampire! an Evil Tinkerbell outfit would also be perfect! Have you got a short black dress? Pair up some high heeled boots & create a cute pair of small wings out of black cardboard & black glitter & you’re set to go!! A Witch costume can also be easily made out of the same black dress or long skirt! All you’d need would be a simple witch hat – those are easily found in stores and sold for cheap prices! Else you can slap on a black jumpsuit, a pair of kitty ears (which you can also easily make or find in stores for extra cheap prices!) & your the infamous Black Cat! By utilizing various cardboard boxes you can also whip up an evil looking Robot costume!
If you’re going as a group – you can consider going as Zombies! Just get some old clothing and shred the tips, make your make up look as if you’ve just come back from the grave and you’re set! You can also play around with the zombie theme and go as rock stars turned into zombies or french nobilities turned into zombies lol! Another cute idea would be to go as the Adams Family, as a group of Devils or as the Seven Deadly Sins if you’re feeling extra creative!

Since my country is a bitch about this holiday and nobody celebrates it, I just want to add a costume idea.
For carnaval, I’m going as a nurse from hell. And nothing is store bought XD I get my mom’s old uniform from back when she was a nurse at my age. I received a stethoscope today to match it. Alongsided with a paper-folded hat, surgical mask and gloves I’m ready!
Mind you, all this will be covered in blood XD I find carnaval a bit of doing halloween over, but longer.

Ooo I love Halloween, so far I’m booked into 2 partys, the first is a Tim Burton event and I have to be on of his characters..any ideas!? Second is an Adams family event and the house is being done up like the adams familys and I’m playing Wednesday, so we as the family have to act like them all night haha, should be rather hilarious! xxxx

ahhh that’s so nice! Is going as the corpse bride a cliche’? I think that’s one of the cutest characters he has (& i’m a sucker for her dress, and her blue hair!) Sally from NBC is also a darling!!

Thanks for the ideas!! I’m going to a Halloween thing band concert and we have to dress up and I had no idea what to wear.. I think I like the Evil Tinkerbell idea
my friend is dressing up as Sweeney Todd, i can’t wait to see him!

Zombies, the seven deadly sins and the adams family sounds like a great idea! (really, i might want to do that next year) We were also thinking about dressing up as different band members. But, we decided to go on a “whorish” theme

I guess it’s different in other countries! We just dress up as whatever we want, scary, sexy or not, haha. I might or might not be going to a get together on campus the day before Halloween… but I’ll be store-buying it. :P Muahaha.
