There’s nothing but lovely weather scheduled for this week! Don’t worry about the occasional cloud or raindroplet – it doesn’t have to spoil your day ! Here’s what the outside themed 4bw has got for us this week:

  • Start a nature scrapbook - Brighter weather makes us all very eager to jump out in those endless fields of green and spend whole days there! Save all those lovely memories by making your very own nature scrapbook (you can use self-made pressed flowers, photos, anything!)
  • User your Bicycle this week –  Try and use your bike this week to run errands around your town instead of your car it will do your body a world of good and you’ll be making the earth a nice favour as well
  • Recycle paper – Find an unused dustbin and gather up all of your unwanted papers around the house and start keeping them in this bin. When you have enough, head on to your nearest recycling centre! You can also use the scraps of papers to make things for yourself i lately used 2 cereal boxes to make a magazine rack and a notepaper holder!
  • Get yourself a housplant – Growing a plant is not as hard as it looks – and it will make the environment around it definately much more prettier Just remember to get yourself a plant that is easy to maintain (depending on your level of greenthumbness of course!) Doing a small internet research, or a trip to your neighbourhood friendly plant nursery will definately lead you to your perfectly suited plant

The following idea was suggested by Angelica (Thankyou for the contribution!)

  1. Throw a tea party for your friends. Serve strawberry (or something else fruity) tea and cupcakes at a nicely set up table
  2. Summer is here so go out and pick flowers and either put them in a vase or bind a ribbon around them and give them to someone you love. It’s a lot more personal to get a bouqet of flowers picked by someone themselves than bought in a flower shop
  3. Go for a bicycle ride to the countryside and enjoy the nature and nice weather

Got any suggestions of your own to be included for the next 4BW (same time, next week!)? I would love to hear from you!! Each idea of course will be credited! Send your brightest most glittering ideas through the usual contact form!

Get out and enjoy the sun this week

Ooh! I like the first one, as it mentions pressed flowers … I’ve been collecting flowers all spring and putting them in my flower press! Then, after they’re all pressed and dried out, I use them to make greeting cards for friends and family. And you don’t even have to have a flower press, you can just use an old book!

I’m always riding my bike too … I LOVE it, coasting down steep hills at top speeds is incredibly fun.
