Would you consider buying a book about blogging to help you improve your skills or do you refer to online websites such as problogger and copyblogger? I myself visit these websites religiously everyday – but i’m a BIG sucker for all things paperback and just couldn’t resist not getting my hands on some really great jewels! Here are three books i read below (all of them i really, really recommend!):
Books I’m Reading / Read:
- ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income – No list on books about blogging can be complete without this book! This is definately a must have out of all the list
the book is easy to follow and very helpful (make sure to visit his website as well to keep yourself updated with all the latest blogging news
). If you only have enough money to buy just one book – i really suggest that THIS one would be the one you invest your money in
- No One Cares What You Had for Lunch: 100 Ideas for Your Blog - I REALLY COULDN’T PUT THIS BOOK DOWN BEFORE I FINISHED IT! Really, REALLY inspiring! Gives out some really nice ideas on what to blog about which would turn any boring blog into a really good read

- The IT Girl’s Guide to Blogging with Moxie - A very cute girly read: simply PERFECT for any girl (or not?) who’s interested in starting her own blog and wanting to reap in a good number of visitors to her humble blog
Gives very simple but great explanations of all of the technical things you hear floating about on the web! Very enjoyable to read as well – perfect for the non-technical crowd out there!
Books i’ve been recomended to read:
- Blogging For Dummies – I’m sure this is a great book from this series (all books in this series boast and are notorious of their very helpful content)
i bet it would be really useful for all blogging beginners
- Unleashing the Ideavirus – One of Seth Godin’s masterpieces! Looking forward to sink my teeth into this one!
- We the Media: Grassroots Journalism by the People, for the People - Book about blogging + journalism? COUNT ME IN FOR THE READ!
- Something to Blog About - Looks like a great fiction about a girl maintaining an online blog! I think this is the first of it’s kind?
- Others: The Weblog Handbook: Practical Advice on Creating and Maintaining Your Blog, What No One Ever Tells You About Blogging and Podcasting: Real-Life Advice from 101 People Who Successfully Leverage the Power of the Blogosphere (What No One Ever Tells You About…

So what do you think about books on blogging? Would you purchase a book yourself? ![]()
